They Look More Like Jesus

At Tejas, we believe in fostering unity and growth within communities, whether they’re large or small. One recent experience shared by a group leader beautifully captures the impact setting the stage has on groups. Here’s what Ginger from Summit Christian Academy had to say:

“Our student said, “I want our class to get closer. I want us to not be cliques, but I want us to be a group.” And if you could have seen them in the Four Seasons playing games, they were all outside of their regular groups. To me, it was a beautiful picture of what the church should look like. When we are one day in eternity, we’re not going to be in cliques there. We’re actually going to be all one people together. My kids started looking like that. I feel like when my kids come to Tejas, they go back home looking more like Jesus. Thank you, Tejas.“

This testimony speaks volumes about the transformative power of Jesus. At Tejas, guests come together, break barriers, and leave looking more like the community Christ intended us to be.
