The Grinch Stole Christmas… at Tejas
Watch this video and read below…
You reveal the path of life to me; in your presence is abundant joy; at your right hand are eternal pleasures. Psalms 16:11
Things don’t always go as planned, but we know we are in God’s hands, according to the verse above. In May, Tejas experienced a massive hail storm that caused significant damage to the campus buildings. Fortunately, no one was injured, but the buildings took a beating.
Thanks to the diligent efforts of our team and insurance company, we will be replacing over 20 rooftops, including our dining hall.
We explored alternative ways to serve food and house our guests during the replacement, but we concluded that shutting down for a few weeks to tackle as many replacements at once was the best option.
Therefore, we will not be hosting our Thanksgiving and Christmas at Tejas events this year. We plan to start scheduling families for 2025 and are already looking forward to next year.
Thank you for your understanding and hopefully we will see you soon at one of our other family events. Check out mytejas.org/family-events to signup today!
