What types of groups come to Tejas during the summer?
During the summer (June–August), we operate as a host facility, renting our entire property to one large group per session
What kind of facilities and amenities are available?
Tejas provides comprehensive services, including lodging, food services, and diverse recreational activities suitable for various age groups. We aim to handle many of the logistical details so that your leadership team can focus on the spiritual and communal goals of your camp.
Does Tejas provide activities for our group?
Yes, we offer a wide range of activities on-site. When planning your schedule, you can coordinate with the Tejas staff to utilize our facilities and recreational options to keep your group engaged and connected.
Can Tejas accommodate dietary restrictions?
We strive to accommodate a variety of dietary needs—including common requests like gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian options—to ensure all our guests are well-fed and cared for. Notably, our kitchen is strictly nut-free. As part of the planning process, our team will ask you to provide a list of all the dietary restrictions for your group before your stay so that we have the necessary preparations in place.
Is there a minimum group size during the summer?
Yes, our minimum group size for summer camp is 500 people, which includes both campers and leaders
What is the maximum capacity during the summer season?
During the summer season, we can accommodate up to 696 guests across property.
How many groups are at Tejas at one time during the summer?
We operate as a host facility, renting our entire property to one large group per session during the summer.
Do you have staff on-site 24/7 during our session?
Yes, our team is available throughout your stay to support your group.
Can we customize our camp schedule?
Yes! We work closely with you to build a schedule that aligns perfectly with your group’s goals. Whether you have specific requirements for meals, meeting times, recreational activities, or downtime, our team is here to help structure your stay to make it as impactful as possible.
How is the pricing configured?
Our summer rates are per person and include lodging, meals, recreation, a full team of summer staff to assist with or run activities and exclusive use of the entire Tejas property! Please call or text us at 979-366-2422 or email our team at info@mytjeas.org to inquire about rates.

Where is Tejas located?
Tejas is located at 1038 Pvt Rd 2191, Giddings, TX 78942. Its location is designed to provide a break from the city, allowing groups to focus on God, community with their group and nature.
Do you host events besides summer camp?
Yes! Our calendar changes throughout the year:
- Summer Camps (June–August): We partner with groups to host summer camp experiences.

Retreats (August–November and January–early May): We host a variety of church and group retreats.

Family Events: We host special family events during major holidays, including Labor Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
