The other day, I was visiting with a long-time friend who asked me a challenging question: "Are we being successful or faithful with our pursuits?"


It's a question that I wrestle with on a daily basis. We all have a desire to quantify the work we're doing. In camp life, that might mean counting the number of campers, beds filled, summer staff, or recreation options.


But God calls us to be faithful to where He is leading, and let Him measure our success. There are times throughout the summer when we get glimpses of that success, with salvations and baptisms. But I know from experience that the transformation process has only just begun, and the impact will be multiplied in the years to come.
