A Summer of Purpose

Help them find a summer with purpose!

I remember coming to Tejas in the summer of ’99, excited and nervous about the opportunity to serve and be discipled. Our focus is still to invest in the next generation as we serve together.

Many young adults, like myself back then, are already starting to wonder: What am I going to do this summer?

Instead of just a job, what if they found a community?

At Tejas Camp and Retreat, we are looking for our Summer Staff 2026 to join Team Two:Three. This team is built on Philippians 2:3 – putting others first and serving with humility.

We aren’t just looking for workers; we are looking for partners to help us “set the stage for Jesus to transform lives.”

No experience? No problem. We provide all the training needed! Your student or grandchild could spend their summer:

• Facilitating waterfront games, zip lines, and the ropes course.
• Serving guests in the Dining Hall or The Hub coffee shop.
• Leading worship or small groups for summer staff.
• Growing through small group Bible studies and discipleship.

The Details:

• Who: Students who have completed at least their junior year of high school.
• When: May 16 – August 5, 2026 (Dates are flexible for school orientations/vacations)
• Pay: Compensation starts at $1,500/month.
• Growth: We also offer specialized internships in Marketing, Recreation, and Retail.

Why Tejas? Beyond the fun, we are looking for those with an eagerness to “do hard things” and a desire to bend low in service. It is a summer of hard work, deep friendship, and real spiritual growth.
