30 Days of Prayer… Day 30!

Good morning! Today is the day we welcome our first group of campers! After weeks of preparation and training, everything now shifts into action as our Summer Staff steps into their roles. There is a lot of excitement as they get ready to meet campers, build relationships, and create a welcoming and fun environment right from the start.

Please pray for the campers arriving today, as well as all those who will come throughout the summer. Pray that their hearts would be softened and open, that they would feel safe, seen, and welcomed, and that they would quickly feel at home at camp. Most of all, pray that each camper would have meaningful encounters with Jesus during their time here, and that the seeds planted this summer would bear lasting fruit in their lives.

Lord, thank You for the campers arriving to Tejas today, and for all of the campers coming this summer. Give them safe travels. Help each camper feel welcomed here, take away any fears or nervousness, and make this a fun and meaningful week for them. Open their hearts so they can hear from You, and help this not just be a week away, but the beginning of something that will last much longer. Thank You for allowing Tejas to be part of their story. May everything we do this week point them clearly to You. Amen.

As we close out our 30 Days of Prayer, we want to thank you for joining us each day. It has been incredible to see prayers answered throughout the month leading up to camp, and we are grateful that you have been walking alongside us in prayer. We will continue to send a few updates throughout the summer with new prayer requests and, Lord willing, even more stories of answered prayer as camp goes on. Thank you for being part of what God is doing here at Tejas.
