30 Days of Prayer… Day 21!

Good morning! Thank you so much for continuing to pray with us, we are already seeing answered prayers. A few nights ago, one of our summer staffers left worship in tears. One of our full-time staff followed up to check on her, only to discover they were actually happy tears. She shared that she has struggled with not having friends, but feels like she truly has friends now at Tejas. Praise God for all He is doing to help our summer staff bond and build meaningful connections with one another.

Today is another full day of training and projects! Staff will also be learning and preparing for some of our favorite camp activities like Mudpit and Tejas Chaos Games, two activities that create so many fun memories for our campers each summer. Please pray for our staff as they continue through this busy season of training and preparation. Pray that they would stay focused, work hard, grow in confidence, and continue building strong relationships as a team. Pray also that the Lord would use even the fun and energetic moments of camp activities to help campers feel known, loved, and pointed toward Him.

Lord, thank You for all that You’re doing within our staff, both the things we can already see and the things happening behind the scenes that only You know. Thank You for helping them bond and build relationships with one another. Continue to give them the energy, focus, and endurance they need to complete their training well. Tonight, as they train for the Mudpit and Tejas Chaos, show them how even fun and messy moments can be used to build relationships, create joy, and point campers back to You. Continue shaping this team into a group that serves You and others well this summer. Amen.

May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us— yes, establish the work of our hands.
