30 Days of Prayer… Day 19!

Good morning! It’s another full day of lifeguard and Adventure Tower training for our summer staff! Today, they’ll also be learning more about Team Two:Three and the heart behind it. Team Two:Three (the name for our staff) is rooted in Philippians 2:3, which calls us to value others above ourselves. That mindset is a big part of the culture at Tejas as our staff strive to serve others well and put the needs of campers, guests, and fellow staff members before their own. We’ll wrap up the day with another guest speaker who will be sharing about servant leadership, which fits perfectly with today’s focus!

Please continue to pray for our staff as they learn and prepare, that they would stay attentive and grow in confidence. Please also pray that our staff would grow in humility and servant-heartedness, choosing each day to love and care for others the way Christ calls us to.

Lord, thank You for continuing to prepare our summer staff for the ministry ahead. We pray that You would help them stay attentive as they learn and grow in confidence through their training. As they focus on servant leadership today, shape their hearts to value others above themselves and to love and serve others the way You have called them to. Help them live out Philippians 2:3 in the way they encourage, support, and care for those around them each day. Amen.

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves
