30 Days of Prayer… Day 17!

Good morning! Our Summer Staff is jumping right in today as training continues in full swing! We’re excited to have two guest speakers with us today. One session will focus on helping our staff better understand and grow in their Personal Devotion Times, while this evening’s session will focus on mental health and caring well for themselves throughout the summer season. We’re also kicking off lifeguard training and Adventure Tower training today as staff begin preparing for the many responsibilities and opportunities ahead this summer.

Please pray for our staff as they learn and grow today. Pray that they would be attentive, encouraged, and open to what God wants to teach them. Pray especially that they would establish healthy spiritual and emotional rhythms early in the summer, and that God would equip them not only with practical skills, but with wisdom, endurance, and Christ-centered hearts as they prepare to serve campers in the weeks ahead.

Lord, thank You for the opportunity our Summer Staff has to learn, grow, and prepare for the summer ahead. As they spend time in training today, help them not only gain practical knowledge and skills, but also grow spiritually and emotionally. Teach them how to remain rooted in You through personal time with You, and give them wisdom to care well for themselves and others throughout the summer. As lifeguard and Adventure Tower training begins, give them focus, confidence, and attentiveness in every task. Prepare their hearts now for the campers they will soon serve, and let everything they learn point them back to You and the mission You’ve called them to. Amen.
