2/12 – Tejas – Jesus, You Keep Hope Alive

Feb 12, 2021

Well, today is another day I choose to sit in the dining hall to catch up on work. I have the music playing, and the the lyrics from “You Keep Hope Alive” by Mandisa are ringing true. “Days may be darkest, but your light is greater.”

John 8:12 says, “When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

The light from Jesus is greater than any darkness. Be encouraged and know that even here at Tejas this last Spring, we did not know how we would navigate through the pandemic. Yet, through many people who have come alongside us, the light of Jesus has shown the way. I truly believe Jesus is not done with Tejas and we will be here serving for generations to come.

On that note, you too can be a part of this transformation story. Don’t think that you can’t make a difference. We need YOU! Yep, that’s right, Jesus can use you for ministry at Tejas. So pray, give and come be the light in setting the stage for Jesus to transform lives.

Coming soon… Thanksgiving and Christmas 2021!

We are getting the final  flamingos in a row and will begin booking these fantastic experiences next week. Stay tuned! (Yes, a bit of a dad joke about ducks and flamingos. If you have been to Lights of Tejas in the past, you know what I mean!)
